The Psychedelic Education Partnership is a newly incorporated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting health care system readiness through rigorous, evidence-based, interdisciplinary education in psychedelic science and care.

The Psychedelic Education Partnership is designed to support workforce readiness with two core programs: the established University Psychedelic Education Program (U-PEP), which focuses on educating the future health care workforce; and the newly-envisioned Clinician Psychedelic Education Program (C-PEP), which will provide educational opportunities for the current workforce.

As clinical research progresses and patient interest continues to grow, the Psychedelic Education Partnership helps ensure that both the future and current health care workforces are prepared to engage in this emerging field thoughtfully, ethically, and within appropriate professional boundaries.

Why This Work Matters

Patients are already asking clinicians about psychedelic-assisted care. At the same time, research is advancing rapidly, and regulatory pathways continue to evolve.

Without accessible, credible education:

  • Clinicians may feel unprepared to respond to patient questions
  • Institutions may struggle to integrate emerging evidence responsibly
  • Public discourse may outpace professional understanding

The Psychedelic Education Partnership emphasizes education rather than clinical training, preparing health care professionals to confidently discuss psychedelic-assisted care with their patients and make appropriate referrals within their professional scope.

“I see the need for the Psychedelic Education Partnership on a day-to-day basis and know how critical this work is to move the field forward and better serve patients/clients. I’m very grateful you’re taking this on.”

—Heidi Pendergast, Oregon Director, Healing Advocacy Fund
